Auditions
Park Players will hold auditions for its
2010 season on Jan 16th from 1pm till 4pm in the Martha Moore
Sykes studio at Virginia Samford Theatre, 1116 26th Street So.
Birmingham, AL 35205. Directors will be casting for two
productions: William Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing"
Directed by Hannah Wilkerson and Michael Frayn's "Noises Off"
Directed by Clay Boyce. Performance dates for "Much Ado About
Nothing" will be May 13th thru 16th & May 20th thru 22nd at
Homewood Central Park. Performance dates for "Noises Off" will
be July 8th thru 10th & July 15th thru 17th with matinees
Sunday July 11th & 18th on the Main Stage at the Alabama School
of Fine Arts.
No Monologue required. You will be asked to
read from a provided script. The minimum age for Noises off is 18
years for, Much Ado About Nothing 16.
We will also be seeking dancers and
musicians for Much Ado About Nothing. If you are a singer, dancer
or play an instrument - please be prepared, as you may be asked
to give us 60 seconds at a callback audition.
Those interested in
auditioning can come at any time between 1pm till 4pm. You will not
be required to stay the whole time. Resume and headshot appreciated
but not required.
